grain growing and milk production.
Ltd. «Agrofirm «Trio» has two modern dairy complexes.
Dairy complex in Dolhorukovsk region was reconstructed and brought into operation in 2006.
Its milk herd is 1,000 cows, with annual yield per cow 7,000L.
Dairy complex in Terbunsk region was brought into operation in 2009. Its rated capacity is 2,400
milk cows, milk herd — 1,500 cows with annual yield per cow 9,000L.

His thesis project was a collaborative effort between Utah State University (USA)
and the UTAD University (Portugal) in the area of animal nutrition,
focusing on improving Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) in milk and dairy products.
In August 2005 he joined Alltech California, operating at farm
level with nutritionists, researchers and large dairy producers.
Being appointed Territory Manager in 2007 and Key Account/ Project Manager
in 2008, Pedro worked directly with key accounts in California
and Arizona including JD Heiskell & Company, Nutrius LLC and Cargill
Animal Nutrition, developing business opportunities and implementing projects
with direct application at farm level.
Jan Vos
Supervisor over the 4 European Dairy Farms: The Netherlands, Germany, Scotland and Poland, totaling 3000 dairy cows.
Born 1956, started his farming career after his study at an Agricultural College, on a Dairy
Farm in the middle of The Netherlands. In 1979 he took full responsibility over
a herd of 120 Holstein cows. In 1983 he advanced his career by moving to Scotland,
to start and develop the Coopon herd for and on behalf of Mr. Wijnand Pon. In 1997
he and his family moved back to Holland to manage the Dutch Koepon Farm.
Jan is married to Jannie and they have four sons and one daughter.
Wijnand N. Pon
Owner of the Alta Genetics, the world largest privately owned
Born 1943, was from a young age fascinated by nature and later farming. His family background was not farming, but he used every opportunity possible to be amongst gamekeepers and foresters. Later he developed a love for dairy farming.
Before his study he had worked on many farms, at home and abroad and this earned him
enough credits to start his study at the Agricultural College.
In 1966 he started his own farm in the north of Holland. In 1971, after
visiting the USA he was convinced that the Holstein breed could contribute to a more
efficient milk production. This was the start of his involvement in the Cattle Breeding
Industry, now resulting in the ownership of Alta Genetics, the world largest privately
owned
Mr. Pon is married to Harryet and they have three daughters.

Head of the department of alternative cattle maintenance of the largest and leading Austrian
Agricultural Research and Education Centre (AREC)
Professional experience:
Coordinates researches of the Centre, plans and conducts accurate researchees in livestock
management, animal nutrition (the need for nutrients, forage evaluation in vivo / in situ
/ in vitro, lactation and mobilization, digestion of feed, animal health) and the
influence of feeding on the quality of the final animal products (fatty acids in milk,
meat, etc.). Responsible for the interpretation of results and further publications and reports
(in the period from 2005 to 2009 presented more than 120 professional reports on educational
seminars and congresses). Consults farms on the treatment of production data as a basis
for economic modeling and decision making.
